The PKHBA keeps its members abreast of the latest
technical issues that affect the industry, and there is a
multitude of educational material available through all
three levels of the Association. Conferences/seminars

Forum” and OHBA’s “Building & Renovation Forum”.
“As a builder, renovator, tradesperson, supplier, or service
provider, being a member is one of the best business decisions you can make. The potential for networking, furthering your
education, and keeping abreast of current affairs is

federally to ensure that today’s issues are brought to the
attention of all levels of government that have an impact on
how you operate your business tomorrow.”

“My membership has opened up opportunities for our company
and myself, as an owner of a small business to grow
professionally. The networking, access to professional training
in various disciplines, from technical knowledge to business
skills development, and current industry information is ongoing.
It’s been a steady stream of information and education,
allowing myself to grow as a builder and allow our company to
stay ahead in an industry that is extremely complex and
constantly changing. I would encourage anyone that takes
their career seriously to pursue a membership”

BUILDERS ASSOCIATIONS
PKHBA membership includes membership in OHBA,
the provincial organization whose primary goal is to
positively impact provincial legislative, regulatory and
tax policies that affect the industry. It also includes
membership to the CHBA, the national body that
lobbies the federal government on issues relevant to the
