Since the inception of Peterborough & The Kawartha Home Builders Association (PKHBA) in 1956, its board and members have assured the people of Peterborough and surrounding communities that we care about our industry and all who work within it.

Ontario has one of the highest standards of building practices in the world, and as President, I’m thrilled to be a part of this amazing organization. With the new Building code scheduled for release in 2012, it is the commitment of the PKHBA to aid and guide our members through any and all challenges to our building industry.

It is our commitment to our members and community that we continue to work on their behalf and keep our industry at the forefront of all that happens, and that we maintain the highest standard attainable for all who live in our community.

2010/11 has been a challenge with HST and a slow Economy Conditions for many people and its members. It is my commitment to all, that I will continue to strive forward and lead our team of men and women following in the footsteps of many of our past presidents. To be a member is a privilege, but to be President and lead our members into 2012 is an honour. I am blessed to be part of this wonderful and hardworking Association and all that it stands for and offers our community.
